THREE

This is a great picture that Jon took with his spanky-new camera. Jasper, Sophie and "friend" help each other down the path to the water on Mayne Island.

WHAT A GIRLY-GIRL

Do you think she's making a fashion statement by pairing these oh-so-green heels with that red pantsuit?

HOLIDAYS ON THE COAST

Jon, Sophie and I had so much fun over the Christmas holiday. We were gone for three weeks! (Jon flew home to work New Year's Eve) We spent most of our time in Vancouver at our cousins Maggie, Noah, Ethan and Kiera's house and got to see lots of Aunt Dory and Uncle Stu. (Thanks to you guys, again, for your gracious hospitality through our long-term stay.) We also spent a few days in Victoria, where Jon reconnected with his long-lost friend Jeff and we met his lovely wife Heather; and on Mayne Island, with Michael, Annette, Jasper and Grace.
We took in many sights and a few ferry rides. We went to Science World and Body Worlds Exhibit, the Vancouver Aquarium, the Victoria Bug Zoo, Miniature World; Sophie saw her first feature-lenth film at a movie theatre; we ate great food and stayed at the lovely Magnolia Hotel in Victoria; Jon got to know some of Vancouver Island's little-known wineries... we had a super holiday!

HOLLY COW!!

O.K. Next year?.... One gift each!!! Sophie had to lay down for a rest mid gift-opening. Thank you to all for treating us so well over Christmas. We feel spoiled and loved. But, I'm serious!... ONE gift from each of you, ONLY!

Ring those Christmas Bell(y)s!

It's the Pregnant Lady Parade! Myself (due at the beginning of April), Heather and Cathy (both due if February) pose in front of our Christmas tree during our Holiday Open House on December 10th. It was a great party except for the stomach flu virus lurking around. Appreciation goes out to all those who could not attend. We had enough people to get this flu going around Nelson and beyond already. (sorry to those who came)

Peek-a-Boo

Aunt Jenn made Sophie this cool cardboard house. No one was allowed in but Sophie. Not even the cats. We had so much fun having Jenn here with us before Christmas... even if we did have to take turns with the Stomach Flu.

Ahhh... winter

Sophie has become quite the shoveller. With the help of her dad, there's no stopping the amount of tunnels and show forts around the yard.
