Sophie and I were sitting in the car today waiting for Jon to come out of a store. We were both getting a little bored so I started rummaging through the glove box and Sophie began to take off her socks and shoes. I vaguely noticed that she was having a little difficulty getting the second one off and I could hear her grunting and groaning in her ever-so-dramatic way. When the shoe finally flew off she blurted, "That fucking shoe"! I was pretty sure that's what she said so I got her to repeat it. Sure enough, there was the great four letter word in plain english! Now, I'm pretty sure that it wasn't my influence that made her swear at her shoe. She very articulately said the F-word with an I-N-G at the end, and when I say it in front of her I ALWAYS use the apostrophe 'N' version. :)

I guess it was better she cursed at the shoe rather than at you or Jon
